Special Promotions on 10x Single cell and Spatial Projects

The Carver Biotechnology Center at UIUC is aware of challenges the research community is facing due to a wave of grant terminations, delays, and reductions in funding. In response, 10x Genomics has teamed up with the DNA Services and CMtO Cores to help ensure projects can move forward and science can continue. Through this collaboration, 10x is offering special discounted pricing on pilot studies for both spatial transcriptomics and single cell sequencing reagents, allowing the CBC to pass along reduced service rates to the UIUC research community. The program includes Visium HD spatial transcriptomics, single-cell 3′/5′ gene expression, snATAC, and multiome (RNA-seq + ATAC-seq) workflows, and is available for projects beginning immediately through November 30, 2025. Additionally, 10x Genomics has drastically reduced pricing for on-chip multiplexing of both their 3′ and 5′ workflows, allowing single cell samples to be run at even more reduced price points. This pricing is permanent and is independent of any special offers through the UIUC DNA Services lab. Researchers are encouraged to contact your partners at the CBC for more information on how they can help enable your projects with these reduced rates. Our goal with this initiative is to help UIUC investigators continue their groundbreaking research despite financial uncertainty. The CBC continues to offer complimentary consultation for project planning, and 10x Genomics will remain an active partner by providing ongoing technical expertise. Explore Product Updates with 10x Genomics

Explore Product Updates with 10x Genomics: Lunch & Learn + 1:1 Consults Discover the Future of Spatial Biology and Single Cell Sequencing at UIUC Join us for a special Lunch & Learn hosted by Jason Karpus (Account Executive, 10x Genomics) and co-hosted by the Cytometry and Microscopy to Omics Facility at UIUC. This session will highlight a number of product advances including: Visium 3′ HD (our highest resolution spatial transcriptomics platform for FFPE tissues — now available for service through your campus core) and Xenium + Protein (allowing for RNA and pre-designed protein panels to be ran at the same time). We’re excited to welcome Dan Moline, PhD (Senior Science & Technology Advisor at 10x Genomics), as our featured presenter. Dan will walk through real data examples and highlight how spatial gene expression can reveal new insights in tissue biology. Want to talk 1:1?We’re offering personalized meetings after the presentation to discuss your specific research needs in spatial or single cell applications. Meetings available from 12PM-4PM after lunch. Please reach out to your 10x Genomics contact below to reserve a time! Seminar Date: Wednesday, June 4, 2025 Time: 10 – 11AM Location: 350B ERML, UIUC Lunch provided (11AM – 12PM, served in 350C ERML – MUST REGISTER FOR LUNCH TO BE PROVIDED) 10x Genomics Contact: Jason Karpus (jason.karpus@10xgenomics.com) UIUC contact: Mayandi Sivaguru (sivaguru@illinois.edu)   Click here to register Click here for event flyer
