The GDM Grand Opening took place on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at the Illinois Conference Center. This partnership deepens the collaborations between the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and GDM – from talent pipeline, to scientific innovation, to uncovering new areas of partnerships across campus.

The Epivara Grand Opening took place on Tuesday, April 9, 2024 at the LabWorks space in Champaign, IL. Epivara is the first company to relocate into LabWorks. Founded by College of Veterinary Medicine Professor Jay Ko, the move to LabWorks signifies Epivara’s growth plans following its graduation from EnterpriseWorks.

The 2024 AgTech Summit took place on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at the Illinois Conference Center in Champaign, Illinois. The 2023 AgTech Summit took place Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at the Illinois Conference Center in Champaign, Illinois. The agenda included a unique mix of panel discussions on sustainability in agriculture, the intelligent farm, the future of the agtech workforce, carbon strategy, and more.

On Wednesday, March 9, the University of Illinois Research Park hosted the 2022 AgTech Summit in partnership with the University and other University departments at the Colonnades Club. The summit highlighted new innovations and challenges facing the AgTech industry. Attendees came to the summit to learn about the future of agriculture and how technology plays a role in agriculture. AgTech startups such as EarthSense and  FrostDefense also participated in this event.
