Research Park Development

Throughout the week of February 8, Research Park hosted Startup Week that featured the Brand Hub Presentation: Marketing Strategy for Startups; Startup Cafe: EarthSense; Startup Cafe: PhotoniCare; and EIR Workshop with Alan Singleton.

The construction of the I-Hotel and Conference Center expansion,  1907 S. Fourth Street, and the Greenhouse continue throughout the summer. The expected completion time is by Fall 2020.  

The TDFC IV building, a mixed-use building, opens in the summer of 2017 and the main goal is to research power optimization for mobile electronics.  The Champaign Council all votes in light of supporting the expansion of Research Park because of the new opportunities and economic benefits to both the University and Champaign community.
